As with most senior executives in the Nihilent management team, he also consults at a strategic level on issues such as strategy implementation, balanced scorecards, metrics and measurement, organizational alignment, performance management, apart from being actively involved in reviewing and managing the large software delivery projects. He divides his time between general management functions and direct involvement in specific projects. He has a keen interest in continually re-evaluating software and services delivery as an engineering science and has been deeply involved in evolving a flexible delivery model which adapts best practice in each discipline to unique user requirements while adhering to the strictest principles of quality management. His driving passion is the thirst for excellence and innovation that is the common thread amongst all Nihilentians and powers Nihilent’ s ability to produce a delivery model that evolves, over time, for each client and provides the client with a uniquely tailored fit.
Beginning his career in the Information Systems industry in 1983, he has worked in most aspects of the systems development and consulting businesses and was intimately involved in the management and execution of several mega-projects. Between 1986 and 2000, Minoo had an extremely successful stint with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He headed the company’s Corporate Banking Group and was a key player in the evolution of the banking and financial services business. In the mid-nineties he established TCS’s operations in South Africa and negotiated a joint venture with South Africa’s most active IT business group – DIDATA, which has a global footprint. He was also responsible for establishing the Corporate Marketing group for TCS.
Minoo has served as the National General Secretary of the Institute of Management Consultants India and has also been an international referee. He is an active member of the IEEE, the ACM, the BMA, the CSI, and similar associations and is closely involved in steering the prestigious Indian e-Governance awards jointly with the CSI. He is also the Chairman of the Indo-South African Chamber in India.
Venkat is a hand’s on leader overseeing day to day operations as well as focusing on strategic planning and growth. He is responsible for building and establishing GNet Group as one of the leading provider of Business Intelligence solutions and an award winning Microsoft partner in the US Central region. Prior to this leadership position in Nihilent, Venkat was the Director and CEO of Netpro Technologies Pvt Ltd
He specializes in consulting assignments for the financial sector and has an in-depth knowledge of various forms of Clearing Systems, National Securities Settlement and Depository operations including Risk Management, Custodial Operations, and Real Time Gross Settlement Systems (RTGS). He was involved in various engagements with SIS – Switzerland, SWIFT- Belgium, STRATE – South Africa, CDS – Canada, etc.
He has extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle processes, CMM processes, Quality standards, and state-of-the-art solutions and technologies. He has rich experience in setting up Data center operations, and Information Strategy and Technology planning. Earlier he was heading Nihilent’s Testing practice and was instrumental in implementing testing operations for clients such as Absa (Barclays Group), Standard Bank, among others.
Abhay is Vice President – Center of Excellence (COE) for Technology at Nihilent. As Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for ensuring continuous enhancement in the technical competence of Nihilent and the alignment to market needs in addition to assuring deployment of a technical infrastructure in delivery management.
Abhay has executed technology intensive projects for clients like Dimension Data, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft Corporation, Delphi, Information Business Solution, Scottish Life Assurance Company, Nedbank, Capital Bank, Tandem Computers, Cyanides and Chemicals in various countries including USA, UK, Germany, Australia and South Africa.
He is Vice President of Nihilent’s global consulting businesses and country head for the company’s India operations. He has over 20 years of consulting experience and heads the company’s Enterprise Transformation Group. His team provides consulting services to global organizations in the areas of Strategy Execution, eGovernance, Learning, Innovation, Knowledge and Performance Management.
Ravi has led a number of projects worldwide at State Bank of India, Sasol, Tata Teleservices, GE, Kellogg, Nedbank, Barclays Bank, South African Revenue Services among others in the USA, UK, Japan, South Africa and India. Ravi has helped organizations to execute their strategy using tools such as Balanced Scorecard, Process Redesign, ERP, CRM, CAD/CAM and GIS using IT products such as Siebel, SAP, Microsoft and Intergraph.
He has spoken at various management conferences around the world such as Knowledge Management Africa, Institute of Management Consultants of India, Bombay Chambers, Computer Society of India, etc. He has taught Knowledge Management at the WITS Business School in South Africa.
He is a student of ontology and has completed his curriculum for living from Landmark Education.
At Nihilent, Vineet has essayed various roles ranging from Practice Head and Group Leader to Project Manager/Leader to Solution Architect and Technology Consultant. He has headed a number of consulting assignments for large customers such as South African Revenue Services, MNet, SASOL, South African Breweries and P&O Nedllyod amongst others. He has been instrumental in setting up a new practice in converged communications and digital media. In his present role, Vineet is a Vice President and heads Nihilent’s South African operations.
Prior to Nihilent, he was associated with organizations such as Zensar Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and A F Fergussons in different roles, ranging from Practice Head and Group Leader to Project Manager/Leader in multiple business domains.
In a career spanning over 22 years, Robin has performed various roles ranging from Programme Management, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Delivery Management, Project Management, Competency Building and Software Development. Over the last 14 years, his experience has been in scaling up operations and building businesses from start. He has created local market strategies and led the execution process.
Currently, he is the Vice President & Country Head for Nihilent Australia. He is responsible for the overall operations of the company in the Asia Pacific region and manages key client and partner relationships.
After his stint in South Africa, Robin set up Nihilent’s UK/Europe operations in 2004. Over the next eight years, Robin successfully grew the UK business into a diverse and mature set up.
Before joining Nihilent, Robin worked with Zensar Technologies. He performed multiple roles that included software project delivery, business development and support to the Corporate Management Group.
Robin has lived and worked in several different parts of the globe and cherishes his learning and relationships.
As Managing Director of Nihilent Analytics (formerly ICRA Techno Analytics Ltd), Prateep has taken several initiatives in introducing new technologies and offerings, which have been instrumental in establishing the company’s credibility in the market. He has built a team that consistently delivers solutions across multiple business verticals in the areas of Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics for large global customers. He is responsible for ensuring that the BI and Analytics practice is well-prepared to help organisations leverage their data optimally, and identify specific areas where Machine Learning techniques can be applied to look into the future. Prateep’s team has successfully executed projects in the Social Media Analytics and Text Mining space as well.
