Job Description Main Responsibilities: • Analyse business requirements to set architectural objectives and o Define architectural models and rules aligned to the architectural objectives o Translate them into Design and implementation requirements of technical solution and components o Communicate to the delivery team(s) • Generate and evaluate a set of design and implementation alternatives in the context of business, technology as well as economic considerations and communicate the same to IT/delivery team(s), customer etc. • Set and ensure implementation of the governance process to ensure that the solution delivered meets the requirements defined through: o Standards and guidelines o Review mechanisms o Tests and related control processes o Building appropriate traceability matrix thru delivery stages • Defend the design and implementation of the architectural solution against the requirements • Pilot/evolve generic and/or reusable frameworks/components, develop and maintain core architectural constructs for specific engagements, technology and/or service/business and continuously upgrade these in line with the evolving technology as well as service delivery trends Skills and Experience: Technical: Deep knowledge in programming, frameworks, standards and technical modeling with specific experience in emerging technologies. Specifically: • End-to-end experience in service and/or application lifecycle delivery and delivery management: enterprise-wide solutions • Hands-on experience in application of formal lifecycle methodologies such as OOAD, structured analysis and design etc. • Expert level knowledge and experience in Modeling (Data, Process and Information including techniques for normalization, optimization etc.): tools and techniques knowledge and implementation experience • Working knowledge of generic architectural concepts such as encapsulation, abstraction when applied to data, message and business rule layers • Working knowledge of frameworks such as Zachman and TOGAF • Experience in integration • Awareness of tools and technology advancements • SOA implementation related experience will be added advantage • Expertise in Open Systems Soft Skills: • Effective Communication (written and oral) and negotiating skills • Strong leadership and mentoring skills • Cost-benefit estimation and evaluation skills • General awareness about business perspective and enterprise functioning Educational Qualification and Pre-requisites: • BE / BTech / MCA / Other Equivalent Qualifications • The candidate should have executed this role for at least 3 years and should have a valid passport Apply in confidence to Archana Pandey at archana.pandey@nihilent.com Back |
