N.P. Basrur is an Electrical Engineer (Electronics) with a postgraduate degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai. Before joining Nihilent, he was associated with Zensar Technologies as Vice President - Software Services (March 1999 - August 2000). During this period, he was involved in Management of ODCs for large MNCs in Telecom, Networking, Computers and Shipping. Between 1975 and 1999, he was with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Mumbai. Here, he was Group Leader for Business Development and Project Management activities in select areas like Migration, Re-Engineering, Airlines, Y2K and Finance for clients in India (Western Region) and abroad.
