Nihilent to tap mgt tool market
After successful forays in the South African and European markets, Nihilent, a consulting and solutions integration company is bringing its performance management tool 'Lamat' to the Indian market. Demag Cranes and Components, India, is Nihilent's first Indian customer.
LC Singh, founder-CEO, Nihilent, said that his company would be implementing the solution in the Pune-based German material handling equipment manufacturer. The company earlier rolled out the beta version of 'Lamat' in client sites in South Africa and Europe. It is now making the product available to the Indian market. He said that the company will use Demag's Indian arm to tap the parent company Demag Cranes that has presence in over 60 countries.
"Most companies know what to do in terms of vision and strategy but only 20% are able to implement them. This tool will help companies bridge the gap between vision and execution through a change management framework," Singh said. Lamat is a performance tool that identifies pain points in an organization and enabling companies to monitor progress against key performance indicators and identify focus areas for action. Lamat uses the balanced scorecard concept for performance management to offer companies with a well-defined approach to bridge gaps.
Singh said Nihilent would be expanding presence in Africa, US and Europe. "We have around eight odd customers. The UK operation is a 50 people organization. The US office caters to eight customers. We plan to use Dimension Data's presence in the African countries to reach out to more customers," he said.
