Nihilent eyes India for mgmt tool
Nihilent, the Rs.70-crore worth consulting and solutions integration company, is now targeting the Indian market. It is offering its newest tool, Lamat, a strategy execution and performance management tool, in India after having launched it in South Africa about 18 months ago.
LC Singh, founder-president and CEO, Nihilent said that the domestic market is now ready to accept solutions developed in India, a change that has occurred in the past year or so.
"We are targeting the domestic Indian market for business intelligence and consulting with our tool since it combines consulting with an embedded tool. Our solution is priced at a third of the competitors'," Mr Singh told reporters, after announcing the its first Indian customer, Demag Cranes and Components (India), part of the German material handling equipment manufacturer. He added that this would act as a referral for entry into the German parent company.
