Nihilent celebrates its 10th Anniversary in grand style.

Celebrating a major milestone, introduces for the first time in Pune ‘Raavanleela’ a well renowned play by the Yatri Theatre Group

Pune, India – January 05, 2011 – Nihilent Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a leading global consulting and solutions Integration Company, today marked its 10th anniversary celebration in grand style by introducing for the first time in Pune ‘Raavanleela’ a play that turns the traditional Ramleela on its head; a back-to-basics laugh riot. Produced by the Yatri Theatre Group, a renowned theatre group in Mumbai, ‘Raavanleela’ a play by Dr. Kusum Kumar and designed & directed by Om Katare, is its 60th production. Nihilent Technologies is celebrating a major milestone by completing 10 years of its journey. During this period, Nihilent has realized significant achievements to evolve as a creative consulting organization engaged in introducing change through information technology, people and process interventions.

Since its inception on August 7, 2000, Nihilent has become one of the largest and most reputed Indian consulting/IT Companies in Africa, accounting for 70% of its revenues, and has built a customer base that includes more than 50 companies. Nihilent is looking to leverage its Africa presence to expand in several countries in Africa and create a leadership position in those markets. The associates, along with Nihilent’s customers and partners, are responsible for this impressive growth which allows the Company to offer a range of consulting led services in a cross section of industry domains like BFSI, Supply Chain and Logistics, Mobile Computing and Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment, Government and State-run Enterprises, Technology and related services, Healthcare, and Small and Medium Enterprises.

Nihilent was conceptualized with the objective of creating a different kind of company, through a unique holistic and systems approach to problem solving. With its strong focus on quality and processes; Nihilent within 18 months of inception, was certified as ISO 9001-2000 compliant, and in 48 months assessed at SEI CMMI® Level 5. Nihilent has also substantially expanded its management consulting practice based on its patented MC3 TM framework, and became a SEI Partner for CMMI consulting, training and appraisal services. Nihilent was recently awarded a patent for its predictive ‘Customer Loyalty Evaluation’ (CLE) model that helps businesses to successfully identify the loyalty drivers and build enduring customer loyalty.

Speaking on the occasion of Nihilent’s 10th anniversary, LC Singh, Founder CEO of Nihilent said, “In the past decade, we have remained true to our mission Change for Performance, that encapsulates our commitment to make change happen systemically for achieving sustained performance for our clients and this has put in place a strong foundation to launch the next phase of our growth. As a company we believe in encouraging creativity in all forms and Nihilent has always supported the cause for art and artists. Recently we launched www.tumbhi.com an online marketplace that seeks to transforms the lives of artists, art lovers and art seekers. And as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations we are proud to be associated with the Yatri Theatre Group in bringing its 60th production ‘Raavanleela’, a play directed by Yatri founder Om Katare and written by Dr Kusum Kumar.”

The ubiquitous Ramleela is an indispensable part of Indian culture which is more about passion and religious fervour than quality theatre. Hindi theatre group Yatri's latest production Raavanleela goes one step further in its depiction of an utterly mismanaged Ramleela production. Raavanleela is Yatri's biggest production yet and it features an elaborate set, original music which is performed live and a large cast comprising Yatri regulars.

Nihilent in association with well known film director Anurag Kashyap, Pankuj Parashar and leading talent agency Carving Dreams Entertainment, recently launched www.Tumbhi.com to encourage aspirants to showcase their talent in acting, music, modelling, writing and photography by creating portfolios on the website. Tumbhi.com enables uploading modelling portfolios, videos, audio tracks, film scripts, song lyrics, photographs etc. that will facilitate serious aspirants to reach a wide spectrum of talent seekers such as film and television producers, production companies, music companies, composers, book publishers, etc. The uniqueness of the platform is that a specialist from a team of industry veterans reviews every artwork that is submitted and thus making Tumbhi a powerful platform for showcasing, discovering and nurturing talent.

Nihilent launches patent based service on Customer Loyalty Evaluation

To help businesses successfully identify loyalty drivers and drive customer retention

Pune, India - August 3, 2010 - Nihilent, a leading global consulting and solutions integration company, today announced the launch of a complete service based on its newly patented predictive ‘Customer Loyalty Evaluation’ (CLE) model. The patent titled 'System for Evaluating Customer Loyalty' helps businesses to successfully identify loyalty drivers and drive customer retention.

CLE is a unique model developed to make customer loyalty measurable and predictable. It determines an index for loyalty termed the ‘Predictive Loyalty Index’ (“PLI”). Within the next few weeks, CLE is further being incorporated into a web-based tool named “14signals” (www.14signals.com) for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which will be collaborated by Nihilent’s consulting practice. Nihilent has partnered with the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) for their expertise in delivering detailed and valuable findings using a wide range of statistical analysis methods. Nihilent plans to publish loyalty benchmark reports for various industries that will help companies to benchmark theirs own against the industry.

“Conventional customer loyalty surveys invariably capture the superficial and on-the-moment mindset of the customer without attempting to uncover facets of the promised experience or the insight into what the customer is really expecting. With these surveys, it is practically impossible to predict the future course of action of the customer,” said LC Singh, CEO of Nihilent. “CLE is based on the analysis of the ‘experience’ of the customers in comparison with their ‘expectations’ for a service. Through our new patent, which we believe is the first in the category worldwide, businesses can calculate the PLI of customers, forecast trends and preferences over a period, track areas of improvements, and identify the opportunities for innovation”, he further added.

Speaking at the launch, Prof. Subrata Rath, Head - Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research (SQC & OR) Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute, Pune said, “CLE lets you design a customized customer loyalty survey for your organization and creates an index to benchmark from. Its innovative and scientific model helps establish and track performance based on the critical elements found to drive loyalty. ISI is proud to partner with Nihilent by bringing our expertise in the application of statistics, assisting in defining the survey objectives and scope, formulating the sampling methodology, etc.”

Nihilent has already signed non-exclusive partnerships with Britehouse Holdings (A Dimension Data Company) and DaVinci University, Johannesburg, who will offer the service to their customers in South Africa. Pilot projects are currently underway for a dealer management software company and a mobile services provider. Nihilent will share the loyalty benchmark findings for the banking and financial services industry at the Customer Retention Satisfaction & Loyalty in Financial Services India 2010 conference to be held on 5th & 6th August 2010 in Mumbai.

Nihilent’s portfolio comprises a range of consulting-led services based on its proprietary MC3 TM framework. These services span business verticals like BFSI, Supply Chain & Logistics, Mobile Computing & Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Government & State-run Enterprises, Technology & related services, Healthcare, and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

About Customer Loyalty Evaluation (CLE)

  • Forecast trends and customer preferences over a period
  • Predict the future course of action of customers
  • Make the right offers to the right customers at the right time

Through its patented change management framework MC3, Nihilent bridges this gap between the vision and execution. LAMAT, a constituent technology component of MC3 is user friendly and highly robust", said LC Singh, Founder CEO of Nihilent. LAMAT has already been implemented at various clients' sites outside India and has been extremely successful at MTN, Sasol, ABSA Bank (Barclays Group), South African Airways, etc. Nihilent is now making the product available to the Indian market.

LAMAT is a comprehensive strategy execution and performance management tool that provides everyone in the organisation with a holistic view of the company's strategies and helps them understand how their role impacts the overall performance of the organisation. The other awardees were R.P. Singh, CMD, Power Grid Corporation of India and Dr. U. S. Awasthi, MD, Indian Farmers Fertilizers Cooperative Ltd. (IFFCO). All the awardees were given a standing ovation as their respective citations were read out to a full house of their co-alumni. The assemblage warmly applauded the singular achievements of these stalwarts in their respective fields and their commitment to the noble task of nation building.

The high-profile list of guests at the function included Mr. Vinod Rai, IAS, Secretary Banking, Govt. of India; Dr. T.Ramasami, Director General, CSIR & Secretary to the Govt. of India and Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, RBEF & Chairman, AKC Group of Companies. The guests were unanimous in expressing their overwhelming appreciation of the rich contribution made by the alumni of the Institute.

Rajiv Gupta, Secretary, Association of IT BHU Alumni said, "IT-BHU has been at the forefront of nation-building from even before independence, when the vision of Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Ji created the Banaras Hindu University and its constituent colleges of technical education. Long before the IITs came into existence, IT-BHU engineers were already leading the way in building the country's nascent foundations. Naturally the galaxy of IT-BHU Alumni is much larger and it is really difficult to select from the many outstanding alumni who have served the country during its many phases of growth. Yet, we felt we needed to make a start, and the awardees tonight have been carefully chosen by an independent jury of peers".

About IT - BHU: IT-BHU, classified as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India, has a unique place in India's growth story. In the early days, civil, mining, metallurgy and electrical engineers spread out across the country and laid the foundations of India's early infrastructure. Later, more diverse disciplines like Ceramics, Pharmacy, Electronics and Computer Science were gradually added and its alumni contributed to the next wave of growth. The Institute is also renowned for its outstanding faculty and their research work, which has benefited the common man across all spheres of activity. IT-BHU has been taking students through the IIT-JEE process since the 1972-73 academic years, consistently getting ranked among the Top 10 Engineering Institutes of the country.
