Shobha Agarwal is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. In a career spanning over 25 years, she has held various senior positions and has worked as a Business Systems and Management Consultant with an all-round exposure to consulting assignments. Her experience includes concept to implementation of business and IT solutions. Her expertise in Software Engineering include implementation of engineering principles in software lifecycle management, SEI CMM processes, Quality standards and futuristic technologies.
At Nihilent, Shobha is responsible for ensuring alignment of operations with business strategy and managing the related risks. She is also the chairperson of the management committee responsible for strategizing, steering and supporting the HR function in creation and growth of Human Capital. She is actively involved in mentoring and supporting the Enterprise Transformation as well as Technology Consulting Groups at Nihilent.
Before joining Nihilent, Shobha was associated with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for nearly 20 years where, in addition to client engagements, she worked across organizational functions covering management and human capital development activities. During her tenure there, she developed expertise in the entire spectrum of software lifecycle engineering through varied external as well as internal assignments some of which include leadership positions at the corporate level for Quality Assurance, Software Estimation and Internal Audit.
