Sundaresan holds a Masters degree in Electronics Engineering and has nearly 30 years of IT industry experience. He is Senior Vice President - Strategic Initiatives at Nihilent, responsible for exploring and setting up business operations in new geographies worldwide.
He specializes in consulting assignments for the financial sector and has an in-depth knowledge of various forms of Clearing Systems, National Securities Settlement and Depository operations including Risk Management, Custodial Operations, and Real Time Gross Settlement Systems (RTGS). He was involved in various engagements with SIS - Switzerland, SWIFT- Belgium, STRATE - South Africa, CDS - Canada, etc.
He has extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle processes, SEI CMM processes, Quality standards, and state-of-the-art solutions and technologies. He has rich experience in setting up Data center operations, and Information Strategy and Technology planning. Earlier he was heading Nihilent’s Testing practice and was instrumental in implementing testing operations for clients such as Absa (Barclays Group), Standard Bank, among others.
