Nihilent is looking for a seasoned ‘Sales and Client Relationship Leader for India geography who would be responsible for building, growing, and nurturing the customer pipeline, strategically position Nihilent as a vendor of choice for enterprises looking at a trusted digital partner.
The ideal candidate should be a sales hunter, a go-getter who can manifest tangible business outcomes for the company. This is a leadership position that calls for vital skills such as negotiation, fostering business relationships, nurture existing key accounts, onboard prospects from across major industries and convert leads into deals.
- Have a consultative sales approach
- Ability to bring new business, a good track record in sales, hungry and motivated, independent, but able to work with a team
- Achieving regional sales targets through solutions-focused sales to new and existing customers through leading, managing, building, and developing IT services leads to meet or exceed regional quarterly and annual sales goals
- Establish contact and engage with C-Level executives and generate a strong pipeline of opportunities with prospective customers. Play an active role in networking with key stakeholders in prospective client accounts
- Understand the business models across different verticals viz. Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail, CPG, Energy, etc.
- Nurture client relationships and become a trusted advisor by understanding the customerās business strategies and processes and then offering the appropriate business technology services and solutions. Manage existing client relationships to drive additional revenue through new SOWs, proposals, RFPās.
- Manage and build on the relationships with regional leadership teams of Nihilentās strategic alliance partner network and achieve the ātop partnerā status in the region.
- Research the market, understand the competitive marketplace, identify and acquire customers, decide on the right offerings in the Enterprise and mid-market segments.
- Conduct qualifying research on prospects, identifying key contacts and decision-makers and company demographics to include, but not limited to, job title, products, structure, budget, systems, vendors, business cycle, and customer base uncovering qualified opportunities. Utilize internal and external research tools and systems.
- Work closely with the subject matter experts and delivery team for presales-related activities and the fulfillment of the order.
- Providing thought leadership to the India-specific sales team, Pre-sales team to bring the best of Nihilent and solve client problems. Providing mentorship, guidance to the regional sales team and running sales cadence across all opportunities/accounts.
- Opportunity qualification and assist/review in developing high-quality proposals and responses to RFPās.
- Must be able to effectively build the pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, driving attendance to various marketing events, and expanding business in the existing customer base.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customersā needs on an ongoing basis.
- Should be creative & problem solver and be able to drive the sales effort from the front.
- Build and maintain the regional customer database to ensure regular sales and marketing campaigns. Take an active role in providing all necessary inputs to support marketing efforts as required
- Candidate must be open for traveling within India & outside as well depending upon the need of business
Experience: 18+ Years
Must Haves:
- Selling experience in a B2B, target-driven environment
- Managed revenue and P&L responsibilities
- Client network with Leading Indian businesses on a PAN India basis.
- Proven track record of selling software solutions especially for the Indian market
- Track record in developing exceptional relationships within a B2B environment with specific emphasis on technical solutions
- Understanding of the positioning, deal structuring, competitive landscape, procurement process in the Indian IT service & Consulting sector
- Proven ability to engaging at a C- Level with both customers and prospects
- Proven ability to produce engaging, accurate proposals and manage the entire function of a given geography.
