Beyond Business: Contributing to a Greener Tomorrow
Both Twinings and Nihilent firmly believes in giving back to society and our businesses are well aligned for sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. Twinings has always championed the use of innovative sustainable practices and continually minimized the use of plastics and are taking action to improve the sustainability of our products and reduce their impact on the environment. Similarly, at Nihilent our CSR efforts have always factored the human and environmental elements as a key in our social outreach activities.
In line with our philanthropic efforts and sustainable business goals, we jointly undertook a tree plantation exercise at Bhatkya Vimukta Jati Shikshan Sanstha ( BVJSS ) in Pune, which is serving the orphans, tribal communities, the physically challenged, and the underprivileged children of the Pune region of Maharashtra since 1987. Nihilent has partnered with BVJSS to enhance its services in education, nutrition, health, and sanitation. Around 350 students are living in this facility. Nihilent over the years have closely collaborated with BVJSS for various CSR outreach.
